Moldings

We have literally milled thousands of different profiles, and millions of miles of molding using only FAS lumber — the highest grade available for any wood species. Our current catalog has curated six collections of quick-ship moldings from which to choose. Take a look at our catalog here.

If you don't find a profile, pattern, or size to fit your application, we will make it to your specifications.

Here’s why you should skip the box stores:

  • We do not compromise quality by using finger-jointed materials, nor do we use MDF or even worse LDF — then hide it with a primer.

  • Every linear foot of molding we produce is first made flat by “facing” the raw lumber prior to molding its final shape so that each finished length will be as straight and as smooth as possible.

  • We grind all our knives in house, regularly sharpening as needed to maintain quality control, keeping the moldings consistent while reducing any potential chatter marks.

  • We don’t need to cover costs or lead times of imported products. Everything is 100% made in the USA, produced from our facility in Fort Lauderdale.

  • Let’s face it, we all have different tastes. We aren’t boxed in to producing profiles that a trend report says will sell. We produce many small runs of various moldings daily. We currently possess over 3,500 sets of molding profile knives, but there’s always room for more. The possibilities with Federal Millwork Moldings are endless.

  • A premium molding can mark the difference between builder grade interiors and a thoughtfully designed space.

Stile + Rail Doors

Federal Millwork manufactures stile and rail doors according to AWI Premium Grade specifications, with haunched mortise-and-tenon joinery. Whatever configuration — with whatever panel details you desire — we will assist with appropriate component dimensions to turn your vision into reality. Doors can be pre-hung using your hardware, and primed or pre-finished.

Custom Cabinets

We build all our custom cabinetry to AWI Premium Grade standards. We are adept at working with designers and architects to fill in the details and turn a vision into reality. From conception to execution, we ensure that the vision for the cabinetry is achieved without compromise.

Butcherblock

Take a break from cold hard surfaces and add some warmth to your space with butcherblock. The natural beauty and character of the wood shines through each butcherblock strand. We can customize any top with various wood species and/or patterns to complement any design.
